On Saturday, May 11 in Salt Lake City, the 17-round Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship came to an end. Jett Lawrence of Team Honda HRC took home the victory and was named Rookie of the Year in the 450SX Class. Lawrence, who is only 20 years old, became the third racer in history to win the Premier Class title in his debut season with eight victories. Lawrence was the first rider to win his maiden Supercross race in the Premier Class back in January in the season's opening event at Angel Stadium, adding to the Australian's growing collection of achievements.

Similar to the 450SX Class Championship, the Dave Coombs Sr. East/West Showdown, which pitted the two regions against one another, determined the winners of the Eastern and Western Regional 250SX Class Championships. Tom Vialle of Red Bull KTM defeated Monster Energy to win the Eastern Regional Championship. After entering the last race deadlocked in points, Haiden Deegan of Yamaha Star Racing and RJ Hampshire of Rockstar Energy Husqvarna defeated Levi Kitchen of Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki to win the Western Regional Championship. Two of the first three rounds of the indoor Supercross stadium season, the Anaheim Opener at Angel Stadium in Anaheim and Round 3 at Snapdragon Stadium in San Diego, were sold out. Following that, the series saw record attendance in four out of five markets: Detroit's Ford Field in Round 5, Glendale, Arizona's State Farm Stadium in Round 6, Arlington, Texas' AT&T Stadium in Round 7, and Daytona Beach, Florida's Daytona International Speedway in Round 8. On Saturday, February 24, 67,319 fervent Supercross fans attended Round 7 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, making it the most attended round of the season.
