Emotions were running high during the exciting qualifying session at the esteemed Grand Prix track, as Francisco Piqueras denied Ryota Furusato the coveted pole position, while title contender Emil Veijer suffered a tragic accident. As the qualifying session progressed, the energy was palpable as drivers pushed their machines to the edge in an attempt to complete the ideal lap. Ryota Furusato, who had dominated the practice sessions, often led the time sheets early on, giving the impression that he would take pole position. His cool, collected driving style suggested he would be a serious contender for the pole.

Francisco Piqueras, though, had different ideas. Near the close of the practice, the Spanish driver—who is renowned for his aggressive yet precise driving—unleashed a lightning-fast lap. To the delight of his team and supporters, Piqueras emerged victorious, taking pole position with just milliseconds separating the leading competitors Furusato. Emil Veijer's session took a dramatic turn in the meanwhile. Halfway through the session, the Swedish driver—who had been a serious contender for pole—had a heartbreaking accident. His aspirations of qualifying were dashed by the incident, which also clouded his prospects for the next race. Veijer's team had to work quickly to fix his car so it could compete tomorrow after it suffered serious damage.
